Role Description
This is an on-site full-time role. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating machining equipment, overseeing the machining process, performing milling/turning operations, and ensuring quality control. Daily tasks will include setting up machines, adjusting settings, and monitoring machines to ensure precision and accuracy during production. The CNC Machinist will also inspect machined parts for defects and ensure they meet specified standards.
Qualifications
- Skills in machine operation, machining, milling, and lathe turning
- Proficiency in handling various types of machinery
- Skilled in reading blueprints, including GD&T
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gages, small hole gages, etc.)
- Knowledge of cutting tools (drills, end mills, inserts, taps)
- Ability to program or edit G-Code
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving with good time management skills
- Experience with quality control procedures and standards
- Team-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training or CNC certification is a plus)
